We ask you to approach this question with significant caution.
The absolute last thing we'd want to happen is for you to put your guests at risk, because of a decision you took that could compromise food hygiene and safe storage.
Delivering to a venue shouldn't be a problem if the following criteria are met:
- The person making the order (or a delegate) is present at the venue when our drivers arrive,
- The venue has adequate facilities to ensure your food is stored safely and securely in advance of your event, and
- We offer delivery to where your venue is located on the requested day.
If you cannot meet all of these criteria - we strongly recommend that you don't request delivery direct to venue.
In this instance, and also to protect everyone's health, it's much better if you have the order delivered to you, where you can store all food securely and safely, before transporting the goods to the location on the day of your event.
Remember, it remains your responsibility to ensure food is stored in a way that keeps it safe for consumption ahead of your event. Review the information provided by Food Standards Australia & New Zealand (FSANZ) for some helpful details on this topic.
